  • January 26The Deadly Divide: America’s First Civil War During the American Revolution

    We are delighted to join the Matawan Historical Society in kicking off 2026 with a presentation by well-known historian, John Scheider. In this talk, John reveals how neighbors, families, and communities were torn apart as Patriots and Loyalists clashed over loyalty, survival, and belief. Through vivid storytelling and historical analysis, John uncovers America’s first internal war and explains how its wounds shaped the nation that emerged from independence.

  • May 2 & 3Revolutionary Weekend in Old Monmouth
    The Keyport Historical Museum will be among 50 sites featured in The 16th Annual Weekend in Old Monmouth. Hosted by the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners and the Historical Commission, this program of self-guided tours of historical sites ranges across the county from the Bayshore to the Seashore.

  • June 6Keyport Garden Walk
    We are delighted to support Keyport’s 14th Annual Garden Walk hosted by the Keyport Garden Club. The museum grounds will be one of the gardens featured in this year’s self-guided garden tour.
